Stepping up onto the Don’t Call Me Moses stage at 15:30 is none less than the stage boss herself – Little Wolf aka Lu Cherry. Massive gratitude to Lu and her crew for prepping stage backs, wrangling a superb lineup and generally getting into the swing of things whilst bringing a positive agenda – we’re really looking forward to seeing this stage take shape and make shapes!
In keeping with the gender-positive mission of the Don’t Call Me Moses Presents: The Womxns Stage at Streetopia, you’ll be able to catch Pillow Talk from 14:45 to 15:30 on the day! Having been a highlight of The Steampunk Saloon at Afrikaburn and on our Village Green stage over the years, we’re very pleased to have this genre-bending performer join us and deliver booty-shaking beats. (thanks to Robyn Raymond for the use of this shot, and to Kerry Mae for joining us on the day!)
Stepping up to the podium at 1:45pm on the day, on the Don’t Call Me Moses Presents: The Womxns Stage at Streetopia is none less than the fabulous Martin Luther Queen, Jr (aka Dumisa Lengwati)! Many thanks to this queen, and all the others that are joining her on the stage on the day – we’re looking forward to hearing & seeing how this powerhouse come together!
Look sharp – Dr Mojo Films & Music is coming, and she’ll be leading the charge with the graduates of the amazing Amantombazana Project! Catch her, and the graduates, on the Don’t Call Me Moses stage, at 1pm on the day.
