As the year turns, so we're now looking toward November - and we can confirm that our event will take place on November 28th!⁠

This year, we’re not able to close the streets and fill them with stages, colour and crowds – but we’re still proceeding with a gathering and showcase of creativity, online. So, this year’s Streetopia event will take shape in a new form as e-Topia, with a broadcasted schedule of live performances, music and art broadcast on Saturday November 28th from a variety of locations including venues in Obs (Cape Town) and beyond in the Northern Cape and Gauteng! ⁠

We'll be rolling out info about how you can be involved as a venue, artist, musician or performer soon - stay tuned for more! ⁠

Coming to the streets of Obs for the first time, please welcome our Afroboratory Stage! Named after the theme for @AfrikBurn 2020, this will be an experimental stage - and first announce from the stage is none less than @ijohn!
In the words of Alchemy Session host Mark Mwaba: ”Ijohns’ live performance is a must see - it's a high energy extravaganza of rhymes, flows and melodies accompanied by exciting beats, beautiful singing voices and epic stage presence." Catch him on the Afroboratory Stage from 15:30 - 16:15!
