If you’ve been to AfrikaBurn, chances are you’d have caught this act on the Off-Centre Camp Stage – and we have the pleasure of wamkelekile’ing them right back to the streets of Obs! They are the amazing Bandless, they drop deeply infectious grooves – and you’ll be able to catch them on the Afroboratory Stage at 1:30pm. Ours is a family-friendly community collaboration – so it’s with great pleasure that we can confirm that the fabulous Ilukuluku – Temple of Curiosity at Afrika Burn crew will be hosting a fundraiser that kicks off in the afternoon! This is a great way for anyone who wants to dance after our event schedule ends to find their feet and support a great project that’ll rise from the dust at AfrikaBurn 2020 – Afroboratory. Support!
The wheel of the year is turning, and as we all breathe a collective sigh of relief at the downpours of welcome rain, our event team are already planning Streetopia 2018. Obviously, because the entire event is open to you and your creative contributions, performances and public art, not even our team know what this year’s event will look like.
